Although the fundamental principles of sustainable design have always been an integral part of our design solutions, the growth of and interest in sustainable technologies over recent years has been exponential. Sustainable design is not a mere trend but rather a basic measure of design quality. We are passionate about the intelligent integration of ecological sensibility with economic sense, and more than one-third of our staff has proven their green commitment by earning the LEED credential. Our firm is also a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and currently holds a seat on the Green Team for Citrus College in Glendora, California.

As consulting engineers, we help our clients evaluate the long-term impacts associated with their project, and devise ways to improve energy efficiencies that lead to a reduced carbon footprint and lower operating costs. We also serve as educators to help our clients understand the pros and cons of available technologies, and how they can balance their desire to be “green” with the reality of their maintenance capabilities.

We have taken our green commitment one step further by starting at home. We follow a recycling program to manage our office waste. We have installed water-saving fixtures in our restrooms and kitchens, and our building design utilizes daylight harvesting to help reduce our energy consumption.
